"Give Locally, Impact Globally"

On Saturday, April 17, the University of New Haven Alumni Association will host its 27th Annual Alumni Scholarship Ball in the University’s David A. Beckerman Recreation Center to raise scholarship funds for UNH students.

This year’s ball theme, “Give Locally, Impact Globally,” emphasizes that philanthropy for students pursuing an education at the University of New Haven has an impact far beyond our campus. Our graduates are working throughout the state, the nation adn the far corners of the globe, as physicians, educators, public safeety professionals, engineers, entrepreneurs and more.

In addition to raising scholarship money, this year’s ball will honor three distinguished alumni: James V. Cassella, Ph.D. ’76 B.A, Lawrence P. Flanagan ’80 B.S. and Janice K. Sussman ’83 E.M.B.A. These three alumni will join the more than 65 distinguished alumni who have been honored over the past 26 years.

This year's President’s Award, which is given to University supporters who have gone above and beyond the call to help University students succeed, will be presented to the Louis Tagliatela Family.
