Studying Criminal Justice in Korea Gives UNH Students Unusual Perspective

For Paul Raffile '15, learning about international justice and security is more than an academic pursuit. It's not only that he's studying at the Korean National Police University as part of a new UNH exchange program, but also that the program there includes sessions with people from around the world. Recently, for example, he sat in on a session with 30 policewomen from Afghanistan who are also training at the KNPU. Read more about UNH students studying in Korea.

Did you graduate from UNH with a master's degree in education?

As a graduate of the master's in education program at the University of New Haven, you are in the best position to speak about the quality of the program. We would like to ask you to participate in our alumni referral program to help us identify the next generation of graduate students. We are seeking students like you - individuals who are dedicated and engaged, have a passion to help others and illustrate a deep commitment to helping students develop intellectual curiosity.

The referral program is quite simple. For every prospective student who applies to this program, is accepted and enrolls, the University will provide that student with a $500 scholarship that will help reduce the out-of-pocket costs incurred while participating in the student teaching component of the program.

As the Education Department reaches its 20th year of existence, our primary focus continues to be our dedication to helping people become and remain dedicated teachers who make an important impact on the lives of their students.

Please join us by participating in our alumni referral program. To begin the process, please contact Linda Kessler at 203.932.7448 or lkessler@newhaven.edu.
