Plan to attend Black and Latino Alumni Weekend, which will feature the 40th anniversary celebration of the Black Student Union, from April 5-7. 30th Anniversary Alumni Scholarship Ball
The University will host the 30th Annual Alumni Scholarship Ball on Saturday, April 20, in the David A. Beckerman Recreation Center. This signature event is the University's primary scholarship fundraising initiative. Make sure you are on the invitation list. For more information, please click here.

Men's Basketball Headed to the Division II NCAA Tournament
For the first time in nine seasons and the sixth time in program history, the University's men's basketball team is headed to the Division II NCAA tournament. The Chargers earned the No. 4 seed in the East Region which will take place at Southern New Hampshire University. The NCAA men's basketball championship committee announced the field of 64 teams on Feb. 10. Read the full story
Ohio Academic Named Provost and VP
Daniel J. May, vice president for academic affairs at the University of Findlay in Ohio, has been named provost and senior vice president for academic affairs at UNH. May, who will join the University this summer, was the unanimous choice of the search committee. Read more about Dr. May
Half-Tuition Scholarships Announced for West Haven Graduates
The University recently announced a partnership with West Haven Public Schools that will provide half-tuition scholarships to high school seniors as well as college preparation programs for middle school and high school students. The partnership, called the “Charge into the Future” program, will provide a half-tuition scholarship for any student graduating from West Haven High School who is admitted as a full-time student to UNH beginning next fall. iPads and the Paperless Lab
Last fall, 20 students in an honors chemistry class at UNH were issued the new iPad 3 to use in the classroom and the laboratory. The Friends of the UNH Library hosts a presentation by lecturer Tiffany Hesser on creation of a paperless lab. Learn more about this event

Reuben Bradford '81 MPA
Born and raised in New York City, Reuben Bradford attended St. Emma Military Academy in Powhaten, Va., the only African-American military high school in the United States in the 1950s and 1960s. "My military school background gave me a new perspective, direction and discipline," he says. Read Reuben's story and learn more about his dedication to UNH.
