Celebrate Homecoming at the Alumni Tailgate Party at North Campus before the nationally ranked Chargers take on cross-town rival Southern Connecticut State University.

The party begins at 11 a.m. Come enjoy chili, chowder, subs, chips, beer, wine and other refreshments, while catching up with classmates.

Enjoy family-friendly entertainment, including the UNH Marching Band, a meet and greet with the Charger mascot and inflatable games.

Game Tickets
Game tickets can be purchased at the box officer outside of Ralph F. DellaCamera Stadium.

Individual game tickets will not be sold at the Alumni Tailgate Tent
.
Parking Information
The North Campus parking lot will open at 9 a.m. General parking spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please plan accordingly.

Overflow lots are available on Pruden Street (the road between Main Campus and North Campus). View the campus map.

Pop-up tents and propane and charcoal grills are prohibited in the general parking area. All other spaces are considered general parking and are free of charge. All tailgating participants must adhere to UNH policies and procedures.
Tailgating Information
Tailgating will be allowed in the North Campus parking lot to provide football fans, alumni, parents, faculty, staff and students with a positive game-environment experience.

Reserved tailgating spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis by calling the Department of Athletics at (203) 932-7017. There is a $15 charge to reserve a tailgate space. Grills are allowed only in the reserved tailgating spaces. More information.

Overnight accommodations at the Hampton Inn & Suites-West Haven are available for a discounted UNH alumni rate of $99 per night. To make your reservation, contact the Hampton Inn & Suites and ask for the UNH Alumni rate.

Catch the UNH Hockey Team in Action

October 26-28 in West Haven
The UNH Ice Hockey Club Team will take on Norwich College on Friday, Oct. 26, and Rhode Island College on Saturday, Oct. 27. Both games will begin at 8:45 p.m. On Sunday, Oct. 28, UNH will faceoff against Western Connecticut State University at 7:45 p.m. All games will be held at Edward L. Bennett Rink in West Haven. 2012 Charger Huddle

Oct. 26: Don't Miss the Charger Huddle
The University's Department of Athletics will host the 2012 Charger Huddle on Friday, Oct. 26, at Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven. The event will honor the 50th anniversaries of varsity baseball, men’s soccer and men’s cross country at UNH. Come celebrate Frank Vieira’s 50 years of service to the University and the retirement of Bill Leete, special assistant to the president for athletic advancement and outreach. Tour Campus, Then Tailgate

Oct. 27: Come Check out the Changes to Your Alma Mater
Join the Admission Office to learn about all of the changes that have taken place at your alma mater since you've graduated. You’ll be led by an Admissions Team member on a walking tour of the newly added facilities, including the David A. Beckerman Recreation Center, Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science and Bartels Student Activity Center. The tour begins at 10 a.m. in Bayer Hall.
 

6th Ranked Chargers Return to Action

Host Assumption College on October 6
The 4-0 Chargers were idle this past week and will return to the gridiron on Saturday, October 6, at 1 p.m. at Ralph F. DellaCamera Stadium to take on Assumption. The Chargers climbed to No. 6 in this week’s American Football Coaches Association Division II Coaches’ Poll. They moved up two spots after three top-10 teams fell to unranked opponents. Chargers Visit Stonehill for Nationally Televised Game

Alumni Tailgate Reception,
First 40 to Register Receive Complimentary Game Ticket
The Chargers are taking their show on the road. We want you to join us for an alumni tailgate reception as we show our Charger pride by cheering on the football team in a nationally televised matchup on Thursday, October 18, against the Stonehill College Skyhawks. The first 40 people to register for the alumni tailgate reception will receive a complimentary game ticket. Kickoff is at 8 p.m. at W.B. Mason Stadium in Easton, Mass. The game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network.
