NCAA Division II Second-Round Football Action Comes to UNH

The Northeast-10 Conference champion University of New Haven Chargers football team has earned an opening-round bye in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The Chargers, seeded No. 2 in Super Regional One, will host a second-round playoff game on Saturday, November 24, against either No. 3 seed Indiana University (Pa.) or No. 6 seed Shepherd University. Kickoff is slated for noon at Ralph F. DellaCamera Stadium.

Fans can purchase tickets in advance of the Saturday, November 24, game online at www.newhavenchargers.com/tickets. Online tickets sales will conclude at noon on Wednesday, November 21. Online ticket orders can be picked up at the will call tent on game day under the name provided when completing the order. Students and seniors must be present and will be required to provide a proper ID when picking up the tickets at will call.

Ticket sales on game day, Saturday, November 24, will begin at 10 a.m. at the DellaCamera Stadium ticket booth.

Reserved (Home 50-Yard Line) - $15

The will call tent and DellaCamera Stadium ticket booth are located adjacent to the Athletic Offices, labeled 16 on the campus map.

The University adheres to guidelines for items not permitted into DellaCamera Stadium. For a complete list visit Gameday Central.

Tailgating will be allowed in the parking area with the goal of providing a positive game environment.

There are a limited number of reserved tailgating spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis. Call the UNH Department of Athletics at 203-932-7017 for reservations. There is a $20 charge (payable via cash only) for reserved tailgate spaces, which allow for a small pop-up tent and grill. The reserved parking spaces are located in the Athletic Complex Parking Lot (labeled P25 on campus map).

To ensure an enjoyable, family-friendly atmosphere, all tailgating participants must adhere to the University's tailgating policies and procedures, which can be found on Gameday Central.

Spectators needing special assistance should call at least 24-hours prior to kickoff to 203-932-7357 or 203-932-7016.

Parking is NOT allowed on the neighborhood streets surrounding the Athletic Complex.

All parking lots will close one hour after game ends.

All NE-10 Conference honors were recently announced. The Chargers received four major awards and 16 student-athletes earned a spot on either the first or second All NE-10 Conference teams.

Defensive tackle Raheem Stanley '13, offensive lineman David Stedman '13 and defensive end Tom Herd '13 were lauded as the Defensive Player, Offensive Lineman and Defensive Lineman of the Year, respectively.
