$1 Million Gift Triples Fundraising Goal for UNH Engineering Equipment Fund

An unexpected $1 million gift has tripled the original fundraising goal for an engineering equipment drive at UNH. The million dollar gift, from an anonymous alumnus who has been a longstanding UNH benefactor, pushed the fundraising total of the drive to almost $1.5 million nearly a million dollars more than the goal set by the UNH Board of Governors when it issued a challenge to alumni, faculty, staff and friends to raise $500,000, which would then be matched by the University. Read more about this gift.
