Dear Fellow Alumni,

I want to let you know about an extraordinary opportunity at the University of New Haven. Recently I announced the Dean's Scholarship Challenge, a competition that encourages incoming College of Business students to create a Facebook page outlining an idea for a new business. Up to four winners will receive four-year, full-tuition scholarships worth $120,000 each.

The goal of this exciting venture is to attract students who demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and innovative thinking. If your child or someone you know is applying to UNH, I would encourage him or her to consider submitting an idea. Please pass the word on to your family and friends who have children preparing to enroll in college next fall.

This program has captured the attention of media nationwide. Read a story that appeared in the Washington Post or watch a report on MSNBC. To learn more about the online competition, visit the Dean's Scholarship Challenge Facebook page.

Please note that the deadline for submitting ideas is Sunday, March 18.

Thank you for your interest and your continued support of UNH.
