Just three days after one of the worst mass shootings in U.S. history took place in Newtown, Conn., 30 students from the University’s lacrosse and ice hockey club teams travelled there to help the town’s youth forget about the traumatic event – at least for a few hours – by playing games with them. Ben Borelli ’13, one of the student volunteers, says it is an experience he will never forget. Read more about these students and members of the UNH community affected by this tragedy, and watch the video from "ABC Nightline."

Survey Seeks to Enhance UNH Experience
The University recently surveyed members of the Class of 2006 and Class of 2011 to learn about their current employment status and their academic experience at UNH. The information gathered will be used by faculty and staff as they consider ways to enhance content and delivery of programs to ensure they are effective in helping students reach their career and personal development goals.

Gift cards to the UNH bookstore were awarded to six alumni who were randomly chosen from the many responses received. Congratulations to the winners: Roxanne Belter '11, Lakeville, Conn.; Maysoun Chawiche '11, Bridgeport, Conn.; Elise Kitcher '11 M.S., Worcester, Mass.; Leah McCarthy '06, Worcester, Mass.; Christopher Merriman '06, '08 M.S., Southington, Conn. and Sean Moynihan '06, Chesapeake, Va.
