The fourth annual football alumni reunion is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 22. The day begins with a football alumni reunion tailgate party on the North Campus at 11 a.m. followed by a game between the Chargers and Saint Anselm College at 1 p.m. Register today. Homecoming 2012 -- The Blueout: Got Blue?
Plan to attend Homecoming 2012 on Saturday, Oct. 27, to cheer on the Chargers as they take on crosstown rival, Southern Connecticut State University at 1 p.m. at Ralph F. DellaCamera Stadium. Fifth Annual Alumni Weekend in Miami
Plan to attend the fifth annual Alumni Weekend in Miami, scheduled for Nov. 30 to Dec. 2. The experience includes a Friday night welcome reception at Shula's Hotel and Golf Club, a Saturday behind-the-scenes tour of Sun Life Stadium and a private alumni reception held at the stadium. On Sunday, you will watch the Miami Dolphins take on the New England Patriots from your seats in Duffy's Hall of Champions, enjoying an unlimited game-day buffet, open bar with beer, wine, soda and water, access to the Club Level and 50-inch plasma TV's to check out NFL action from around the league. Transportation to and from the game will be provided. Register today.

Board of Governors Elects New Leadership
Philip H. Bartels, a prominent attorney from Greenwich, and William L. Bucknall Jr., of Milford, former senior vice president for human resources and organization at United Technologies Corp., have been elected chair and vice chair, respectively, of the University's Board of Governors. UNH Student to Blog from Republican Convention
Simone E. Quartey is a registered Democrat and grew up in a liberal family. The UNH junior, however, will be spending the last two weeks of August in Tampa, Fla., attending the Republican National Convention. Read and share in Quartey's experience.
System Engineering Students in High Demand
If system engineering majors spent the summer at the beach, they would have figured out the most efficient way to build a sand castle. Many of them instead spent their break learning about computer languages, project management and engineering design. Read how these students gained valuable experiences at top Connecticut companies.
New Innovative Economics Major Offered
This fall, the University will begin offering a bachelor’s degree in economics within the College of Business that will stress the economics of sustainability and entrepreneurial leadership. The program will prepare graduates for careers in government service and at non-governmental organizations, as well as in banking, finance and health care. Read more about this innovative program.
University's First Exchange Student in South Korea
Ketryk Wilder, of Burnt Hills, N.Y., will be a sophomore at UNH this fall, but he won’t be in West Haven. He will be the University’s first exchange student in South Korea. Read more about Wilder and his opportunity to study criminal justice with 30 Korean students.

Coming off a remarkable run to the NCAA Division II quarterfinals, the UNH football team is only one month away from kicking off the 2012 season. Season tickets for the four-game home schedule are now available. Click here to purchase your tickets.
Chargers Named NE-10 Preseason Favorites in Coaches Poll
The UNH football team has been selected as the 2012 Northeast-10 Conference favorites in the Football Coaches Preseason Poll. Earning seven of nine first-place votes, the two-time defending NE-10 champion Chargers tallied 10 points more than second-place Southern Connecticut State, which received one first-place vote. James W. Ferguson '86
Member of the Record-Setting Trappers
James W. Ferguson '86 played for the Salt Lake City Trappers, who would make history in the summer of 1987 by setting a professional baseball record with 29 straight victories. “It was probably the best summer of my life,” Ferguson says.
