Celebrate Homecoming at the Alumni Tailgate Party at North Campus before the Chargers take on the Bentley University Falcons.

The party begins at 11 a.m. Come enjoy chili, chowder, subs, chips, beer, wine and other refreshments, while catching up with classmates.

Enjoy family-friendly entertainment, including the UNH Marching Band, a meet and greet with the Charger mascot and inflatable games. View photos from last year.
Game Tickets
Game tickets can be purchased online or on the day of the game at the Alumni Tent or at DellaCamera Stadium.

This year, we're supporting Sodexo's food drive, Hands Across America, formally known as Cans Across America. Bring a canned food item to the Alumni Tent and receive $2 off your game ticket.

Parking Informatoin
The North Campus parking lot will open at 9 a.m. General parking spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please plan accordingly.

Overflow lots are available on Pruden Street (the road between Main Campus and North Campus). Shuttle service will be provided from Main Campus to North Campus, stopping at the Pruden Street lots, if necessary. View the campus map. Pop-up tents and propane and charcoal grills are prohibited in the general parking area.
Tailgating Information
Tailgating will be allowed in the North Campus parking to provide football fans, parents, faculty, staff, alumni and students with a positive game-environment experience.

Reserved tailgating spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis by calling the Department of Athletics at (203) 932-7017. There is a $15 charge for a reserved tailgate space.

All other spaces are considered general parking and are free of charge. All tailgating participants must adhere to UNH policies and procedures. Pop-up tents and propane and charcoal grills are prohibited in the general parking area.

Overnight accommodations at the Hampton Inn & Suites-West Haven are available for a discounted UNH alumni rate of $99 per night. To make your reservation, contact the Hampton Inn & Suites and ask for the UNH Alumni rate.

Homecoming Kickoff Happy Hour

Friday, Oct. 21: German Club
You and a guest are invited to happy hour to officially kick off Homecoming weekend. Join us on Friday, Oct. 21, at 5 p.m. at the German Club, an authentic rathskellar located on the University's Main Campus. Enjoy your first drink courtesy of the UNH Alumni Association and complimentary hors d'oeuvres. Register today!

Catch the UNH Hockey Team in Action

Friday, Oct. 21, and Saturday, Oct. 22, in West Haven
The UNH Ice Hockey Club Team will take on Daniel Webster College on Friday, Oct. 21, and Roger Williams on Saturday, Oct. 22. Both games will be held at Edward L. Bennett Rink in West Haven. Faceoff is slated for 7 p.m. For more information on these games or the UNH Ice Hockey Club, please email unhicehockey@newhaven.edu or the team's assistant captain and club treasurer, James Kiley.


2011 Charger Huddle

Oct. 21: Don't Miss the Charger Huddle
The 2011 Charger Huddle will take place on Friday, Oct. 21, at Anthony's Ocean View in New Haven. Begin Homecoming Weekend by celebrating Charger athletics. Cost of the event is $50 per person, which includes an open bar, a carving station and hearty hors d'oeuvres. Advanced ticket purchase is required. Tour Campus, Then Tailgate

Oct. 22: Come Hear, See the Changes to Your Alma Mater
Come join the Admission Office at 10 a.m. for an Information Session on the changes that have taken place at your alma mater since you've graduated. After a 20-minute campus overview, you'll be led on a half-hour walking tour of the newly added facilities, including the David A. Beckerman Recreation Center and Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science. If interested, please email Alick LeTang, senior associate director of undergraduate admissions, at alick@newhaven.edu or call (203) 932-7326.

21st Ranked Chargers Travel to Southern Connecticut

The battle for the Elm City Trophy on Oct. 8
The Chargers (4-1 overall, 2-0 Northeast-10), ranked No. 21 in Division II, travel five minutes across town to take on rival Southern Connecticut State University (4-1 overall, 3-0 Northeast-10) in a Northeast-10 Conference showdown. The battle for the Elm City Trophy at Jess Dow Field kicks off at 7 p.m.
